Teeth whitening

It is definitely indicated in cases where the teeth have yellowed and the patient wants to have them whiter and brighter.

First of all it is verified that do not subsist conditions of tartar, caries, plaque and periodontal disease.
A liquid dam is then applied to the gum to prevent the whitening gel from touching the gum and making it more sensitive.
At least 2/3 whitening sessions lasting 20/30 minutes are carried out.
It is essential, after the session, not to smoke and for the first few days after whitening to consume sweet, carbonated drinks, coffee or tea. It is generally not recommended for those patients who have no intention of quitting smoking.

Before whitening, a traditional cleaning of the teeth is performed. In a second phase, the gums are protected, while a special preparation containing hydrogen peroxide is distributed on the teeth.

For about 20 minutes the teeth are illuminated by a high-tech lamp that emits an intense blue light. The entire treatment guarantees evident results and whitening lasting an average of 6 months. After this period it is always advisable to propose it again.
