For this reason, in the case of small teeth, spaces between the teeth, dark, devitalized teeth, we propose the insertion of ceramic “dental veneers” that preserve the tooth and do not require a devitalization of the same.
WHAT ARE THE VENEERS
They are tested and certified ceramic prosthetic products produced by laboratories. The dental veneers are cemented on the external surface of the tooth using a very high-strength cement. The dental veneers improve the aesthetics of the smile, making it more natural and harmonious while respecting the principles of aesthetics.
HOW DOES THE PROCEDURE FOR MAKING THE VENEERS HAPPEN
1st SESSION : Professional oral hygiene is performed, intraoral and extraoral photographs of the patient are taken and impressions of the arches are taken to create the Temporary Veneers.
2nd SESSION : Local anesthesia is performed
The teeth are prepared with calibrated drills that remove up to 0.5 mm of enamel from the front and incisal margin
Other impressions are taken for the Definitive Veneers and the temporary are cemented.
While you have temporary Veneers it is extremely important not
biting hard or sticky foods because they could come off.
